In 1984, while searching for practical and productive methods to develop a year round self-reliant operation, Greenleaf incorporated a landscape maintenance segment into its training programs.

Effectively utilizing the skills that our trainees have acquired while working within the horticultural training environment, we are able to execute a variety of landscape maintenance tasks for private residents and commercial customers.

Trainees have learned to operate a variety of landscape maintenance equipment safely. With our high standards of quality, our employees have become lawn care specialists.

 

 

While landscape maintenance introduces our trainees to broad employment experiences, it also provides for even broader public visibility, which allows the community at large to access the greater potentials of people with developmental disabilities.
